Bhagwad-Gita
It is a classical wisdom, Truth revealed by Lord Krishna (God)
in His dialogue with His devotee Arjuna (a typical inquisitive
human mind) full of confusion, darkness, doubts, delusions, ego,
ignorance, limitations and forgetfulness as to who he really is,
what does he want in life, what is his duty and how to act and
fulfill his objective. This state of mind is due to our bondage
and application of our mind and intellect with the worldliness
of the world (Maya) full of desires, attachments and dualities
of love (Raag) and hate (Dwesh) and devoid of enquiry, devotion
and self-effort (sadhna) to persue the path to Self-Realization.
Such a state of mind leads us to sorrows and sufferings.
In a very clear and wonderful way the Supreme Lord Krishna describes
the science of self-realization and the exact process by which
a human being can establish their eternal relationship with God.
The primary intrinsic purpose of the Bhagavad-Gita is to illuminate
for all of humanity, the realization of the true nature of Divinity;
for the highest spiritual conception and the greatest material
perfection is to attain love of God!
However hard, unpleasant or unrealistic it may appear to be, the
core messages of Bhagwad-Gita are
• Do not hesitate to discharge your duties according to
your dharma.
• Dedicate the fruits of your actions to Him.
• Don't be influenced by desires and attachments.
• Always fix your mind on Him, to win His love.
• If you cannot do anything, just seek His sharan (refuge).
